Hi all, been lurking about on here for a while and not got round to an intro

I'm Scott, I'm currently restoring a mk3 Golf Gti 16v that had been sitting on a driveway for a good number of years. I shall get some pictures posted up of the progress in the members area.

I'm a newbie to the VW scene so please bare with me, this is my first VW.

Forum looks fantastic and have already found it really useful for a number of things.

Scott

Hi Scott, welcome to the forum. I had a Mk3 16v for a few years. It's actually in my sig at the bottom of this post. The ABF motor suits the mk3 well, and they can handle well with the right suspension, camber and tyres too.

There's plenty folk that'll help out on here too. The best way to get info and help is to start a build thread in members motors. It's a good way of tracking your progress and interacting too.

Also if you don't have Photobucket, make an account (it's free) and copy and paste the img tags onto your post on the forum, and it'll show your pics.
