I would like to put an Audi 80 3 spoke steering wheel on a mk3. I am sure I read a while ago this can be done by removing a splined sheath that sits on the end of steering column with a hub puller? Apparantly revealing a smaller spline that fits the Audi wheel.
Is this something anyone here has knowledge of? or do I have to go searching?

I pulled the adapter off mine to run a mountney boss, was tight as (naughty swear). Had to buy a puller to get it.
