They are few and far between, anyone on here own one, if so please post up a photo, awesome colour.

I'd be interested in buying one if anyone knows of any tucked away or sitting on a driveway needing rescued? No engine conversions for me though.
Thanks.

Red arrow owned one of the nicest BBM mk2 Golfs ever. That thing was a work of art.

I had a VR6 for a short while and there's been a couple of others on here. If you're on edition 38 there's a Bright blue appreciation thread in the mark 2 Forum somewhere.

It's a beautiful colour. There was a lovely BBM down at Ultimate Dubs last weekend indoors. Not so common up in Scotland it appears.

Is it the actual name of the colour?
I had a look in the paint code thread and couldn't see it! Didn't have my gregory pecks on though.

Yeah, that's the correct name. It was only available on big bumper models. Paint code LP5U :rthumb:

There was one for sale on a few forums in Ireland.
5dr for £2400. The car was needing finished he said. Price dropped to 1900 as he decided to keep some parts off it.

I'm sure someone told me theres a real nice 20vt one up Brechin way but i've never seen it.
