Has anyone had problems with the mk4 golf door handles? my passenger door has just jammed shut, outside door handle stopped working a wee while ago but now the inside door handle doesn't work. Does anybody know a) how to get it back open and b) what has failed so i can fix it? Any help would be great :bigthumbs:

mine done this... when you pull the outside handle to open you will see a small steel block in the end...this is attached to a cable about an inch long which operates the lock mechanism.... all i did was....pull the handle to opening position..... put a small screwdriver in behind the block, ping it out and refit it further to the outer of the handle (closer to you if you like) .... that gives the handle more pull if that makes sense?? il try post a pic

Cheers for the link Baz, don't need it yet but I know it'll come in well handy in the future.
