Spaces have been confirmed now so post your details in here if you want your car on the club stand.

This thread is now for Volksfling chat. :rthumb:

Just to update, we'll have a small gazebo at the show which we plan to sell stickers from to help promote the club.
We're working on a new design and will update soon. Would be good if we could have some of the dubshed winners on our stand, the Scottish guys have done really well this weekend.

I'm sorry for a lame question but what's the difference between show'n'shine and concours?
I'd like to attend Volksfling but not sure what day to choose...

Show and shine is a nice clean car that's well looked after.

Concours is basically as good as brand spanking new.

There's a campsite next to the show field if you're far travelled and wanted to do both days.

Right. It makes sense now - thanks :)
I've booked a detail so it should be good enough for show and shine...

Well I don't mind driving there twice in my 'pride and joy' :)

One more thing: any requirements to join the svag stand on Volksfling?

Nope, just put your name down in the post linked at the top and turn upon the day!

I'm fairly certain the organisers want anyone on a club stand there by 10am so there aren't cars moving while there are people walking around.

Getting in won't be an issue, the road out isn't great, it's more of a track.

If you ask, they'll let you out the way in, it's a lot flatter than the exit. Watch out for wee metal bolt things in the middle of the gates though. they're about 15-20mm high

Drove passed the show field this morning on the way to work and there are folks getting the field set up today. The marquee was in the process of being put up.
Weather forecasts looking dry for most of the weekend, so a good turnout is possible

Yeah looks like its going to be decent. The weather is usually the only thing that kills Volksfling but they've been lucky the last couple of years.

What a fantastic day and weekend it's been for Volksfling, I've never seen the show so busy.

Thanks to the guys and girls who showed up and nice to meet you new guys

Anyone with pics from the day, feel free to fire them up in a new thread
