this year i decided to go down to goodwood festival of speed with my dad. i've been twice before (last time being 2008), but i had clearly forgotten how vast the show is! nothing can prepare you for the sheer amount of incredible cars and other vehicles you will see! cars you will have watched on tv and seen scale models of as a kid, cars you see on videos on the internet, tv and internet stars, actors, drivers, just about one of everything! not only do you get to see these cars, but you get to see professionals kicking the sugar out of them too! ex and current F1, BTCC, rally, le mans drivers, all getting to enjoy racing their owns cars of yesteryear or the up to date current race series model. and not only do they go up with 1.2 mile tarmac hillclimb but there is also a 1.5 mile dirt rally stage with plenty of drivers tearing it up in old rally prep'd subaru's, metro 6R4's, escorts of all ages and just about anything else you can imagine!
there are also, well what are basically showrooms, for each manufacturer, showing off their collections of old, and brand new cars. most of the new cars are sitting there all open, inviting you to have a seat and see what its like to be the owner of one of them! brand new R8 V10's with people climbing in and out of them, civic type R's that are being used for some kind of competition, everyone is there to have fun and enjoy themselves and the manufacturers know what makes the people happy!

i urge ANYONE with an interest in any form of vehicle or motorsport to go to goodwood! you will NOT be disappointed!

i realise there are ALOT of pictures to go through (402 in total) but if you have some spare till i don't think you'll be disappointed, and if ever you were on the fence whether to go or not, this album will settle you're mind!

there is a full album with every photo in it, but i have also tried to split the albums up into a few different categories! you will see these below!
